Before the year 2011 came to an end, I wrote a list of my faith goals and prayed sincerely for it. Looking back to the list, I already have things that I accomplished and can I just say that God was very gracious and very faithful to me. One of my most prayed for among the list was a trip to Singapore. I never thought of how much it will cost but I just prayed for it and claimed that it will happen.

Last February, my dad asked me how I will celebrate my 18th birthday. All I know was: I don’t want to throw a party because it will be too impractical. (and I’m kinda anti-social. Hahaha) So I told him that I would love to visit Singapore and mom was really supportive of what I really want so I received a yes! After a day or two, we finalized the booking. I started thanking God for answering another prayer request. Up until now, I still feel kilig whenever I remember that I celebrated my day of legality at Singapore.

Never underestimate the power of prayers. God is faithful to those who trust in Him. Pray sincerely. God gives more than what we deserve.

(I promised my brother that I will bring home a picture of me and the Kung Fu Panda: Po. The panda loves me!)

I always wonder why we are attracted to things that are limited. Just like those limited edition bags, shoes and clothes. Maybe these things makes us feel important or maybe someone unique. Akala natin pag sinuot namin ang mga bagay na ito, sikat tayo.

In this world, nothing is unlimited. Even those text and call promos have an expiry date which makes it also limited. Those limited edition things would just cost an extra peso but still have a quality that is the same with the ordinary things. The unlimited rice that they serve in fast food chains and restaurants are sometimes unavailable..thus, limited.

Why don’t we choose to worship an unlimited God instead? A God that is mighty, immeasurable and beautiful. A God who cares, loves, protects and nourish. The one who paid the price. The one who died for us to be saved. Most importantly, the one who is alive (again) to continue giving us what we need and providing much more than we deserve.

May everyone understand what God did for us. Have a glorious Saturday, everyone!

During our trip to Singapore, we were clueless about the good food that is served in the country since I wasn’t able to make a research because I was so busy in school. So during our first day, we decided to eat at Goldilocks—that was located inside the Universal Studios. I ordered a Papa bear meal (Sounds silly, I know!) and my mom ordered a Baby bear meal so we can get that lunchbox for free! A meal costs $12 and my mom was like: oh this is a nice deal! Not very expensive.

So we had a good time eating and enjoying the bear meals.

Until..

we saw this on our way home and was just located beside the Universal Studios and right after we ordered another meal from Goldilocks.

There were great variety of foods that costs no more than $5! So imagine the regret that we had. Hahaha. So next morning, we promised to come back and ate at Resorts world.

I ordered this at Penang Lim brother’s for only $2!

and these at another stall (I forgot the name of the stall and the dish).

So we finally had a happy tummy ending! <3

A couple of months before my birthday, my dad asked me what I want. I immediately said I want: CASH and I ended up buying plane tickets because I knew I wanted to travel. So I celebrated my 18th birthday with these cuties! I knew it was worth it. Everything was so worth it! ♥ ♥ ♥

I celebrated my 18th birthday with these cuties! I wish I could bring them home.

My field trip souvenir. Sticky notes it is! Hihihihi. I bought it at “Duty Free” for only P50. This is love.

During our Plant Systematics laboratory yesterday, I saw a flower that reminds me of my childhood. Ixora it is.  Next thing I knew, I was getting these flowers and connecting them to form a “bracelet”. Ha ha ha.
