I miss my babies! 

I was watching Pinoy Big Brother on a weekday and they have this “ignore” task to be accomplished for the week. To destruct a housemate (Jessica), Big Brother used her dogs. Even though Jessica wants to hug her dogs, she needs to resist that feeling. Guess who’s crying in front of the tv? Me!

So I’m going to tell you how much I love my babies..and how I got them.

I grew up with dogs but I’m afraid of them. Well, except if they’re shih tzu puppies! Yes. I’m a racist. Lol. 

My love for them started when our neighbor had to go to the province and left their dog in our house. The dog’s name was Brix (also a shih tzu princess). I enjoyed a week with him. After that experience, I asked my mom if she could buy me a shih tzu puppy..and she said yes since I really don’t have someone to play with because I still don’t have any siblings then.

After months of waiting, I got Duke. He’s the sweetest. Whenever I arrive home from school, I would open his cage and let him play around our garage. He would always lick my toenail (yes. The one with ingrown. Hahaha) and he loves to sit beside me. He always follow me wherever I go. He always sneak in the house and leaves cookies everywhere! He’s also the noisiest of them all and that’s the reason why mom hates him. Hahaha.

After a year, I asked mom if she could give me another shih tzu puppy for Christmas..and she said yes again. So I got Bangs. We bought him from Olesco, a famous breeder of shih tzu puppies in BF Homes. Bangs is more expensive than Duke because she’s a girl. The name that was written in her paper was actually Margie but since my tita’s name is Margie, we changed it to Bangs because of her hair. (Side kwento: My tito have a girlfriend named Vhang and they would always tease her that we named the dog after her) Bangs is more behaved that Duke. She’s my favorite because she would always follow my command. Bangs is very easy to deal with and that’s the reason why her hair is better than Duke’s. 

After _ months, Bangs got pregnant. She gave us 4 more puppies but the 3 of them died when they were born. So I only had one puppy. I named him JC, after JC Tiuseco because JC is a survivor! 

So I had these 3 cute little dogs when I was in high school.

Before I entered college, I had to let them go and gave them back to Mr. & Mrs. Olesco. I told mom to give it back to them on a school day so I won’t have to see them going away from me (and I’m crying while I’m typing this *sniff*) but of course, when I went home that day I still ended up crying. I wish I could still have these pets on a small room. Hmm..maybe someday! I think I should start convincing mom again ;) —and I just wish my brother won’t torture them.
